The art of control, stillness, and shielding the soul. ## Tier 1 (Meditation 1+) * Veil Breather – Once per scene, mark a die as Persistent; on success, reduce Slights or Fatigue by 1. * Ward the Mind – Mark a die as Effectful; on success, resist 1 mental influence or fear effect. * Focus Anchor – You gain +1 die to resist corruption backlash while in meditative trance. ## Tier 2 (Meditation 2+) * Shared Stillness – Once per scene, you may allow an ally to reroll 1 failed Spirit roll by steadying them. * Inner Purge – Mark one die as Risky; on success, remove 1 Corruption die from your pool (failure = +1 Corruption). * Breath of Endurance – You may delay the effects of Injury, Fatigue, or Slights for 1 round per success margin. ## Tier 3 (Meditation 3+) * Mental Fortress – You ignore the first Corruption backlash (1 on a Corruption die) you roll each scene. * Soul Bridge – Once per session, you may forge a temporary Bond with a spirit or ally, granting +1 die on all cooperative rolls. * Quiet the Void – Mark one die as Persistent; on success, suppress all whispers and Boon Track effects from Corruption dice for 1 day. ## Tier 4 (Meditation 4+) * True Purge – Once per session, you may permanently remove 1 Corruption die from your pool. Requires an hour of uninterrupted trance. * Sanctuary – Allies within Presence meters gain +1 die to Spirit rolls while you meditate. * One With the Veil – You may reroll any Spirit test; failure = +1 Corruption die.
