Playtested a simple combat scenario.

Improvements

  • The Health System is not required. Small Health values do not align well with the levels and taking additional penalties.
  • Strike action should take only 1 action. 2 actions caused players to beat around the bush often and also did not feel right with NPC.
  • Fatigue as useable resource accrding to Rules Overview.
  • Clear skill applications for skills in combat are required.
  • “Slights in Combat” or rather intrigue… does not work well. The effect of taking someone out for a round with multiple rounds of work seems… weak to the playtesters.
  • Power Strike (and similar) should take 2 actions but normal attacks only 1

Good Things

  • Marked dice worked as expected
  • Fatigue Points (maybe regenerate faster)
